A cinema enthusiast particularly keen on Film Tourism.
Harry Potter, James Bond, Downton Abbey, Amelie, Midnight in Paris, Roman Holiday, Sex in the City, etc. Every year more and more people travel to visit the places where their favourite movie or TV serie was filmed.
This is mainly what I talk about around two areas I very much like:
– Islington: the London borough I live in via Lights, Camera…Islington!
– The Italian Riviera: Initially on this page, as of January 2014 this film tourism project has its own dedicated blog: Hollywood on the Italian Riviera
I am the ‘pretty face’ writing the posts and appearing on the pictures but, as it is often the case, I am not alone in those movie location adventures. In the projection box, hard at work is a little mouse, helping out with the research and the map: Sarah Benedetti. She just doesn’t like the spotlights!
